AI: Coding

Course Selection: Which course or activity did you choose, and what drew you to it? I chose Dragon Blast by Tynker. The combination of adventure and learning made it an appealing choice. The coding languages are JavaScript and Python, two languages that I am interested in and have learned the basics. Learning Experience: What did you learn from the course? Were the instructions clear and engaging? I learned key programming concepts, like algorithms, step-by-step instructions to solve problems and conditional commands that are executed only if certain conditions are met. The instructions were clear, and the visual block-based coding made it engaging. Challenges and Insights: Did you face any challenges while completing the course? How did you overcome them? It was easy but at first, I did have to try again to get it right. Once I learned the movements it was easy. I overcame it by going back and seeing where I made the mistake and fixed it. Relevance and Application: How might the skill...

This is often done by impersonating a trusted source, such as a bank, school, or popular website. My infographic helps students identify phishing attempts and safeguard themselves from online scams. It highlights key details, including the definition of phishing, common warning signs, and essential cybersecurity practices for staying safe online. Creating this infographic was an insightful experience, allowing me to design an informative guide using templates. I researched phishing threats and prevention strategies to help students protect their personal information. The target audience includes students who may not yet be fully aware of cyber threats and need guidance on cybersecurity. By following the tips in the infographic, students can develop safer online habits and reduce their risk of falling for phishing scams.

My presentation focused on quantum computing. I've been intrigued by this term for some time and decided to seize the opportunity to deepen my understanding through research. While I'm familiar with using PowerPoint at work and have some experience presenting, I realized I still need more practice to better this skill. Confidence plays a crucial role in effective presentations, and the more you practice, the more polished you sound. From my research, I learned that quantum computing has the potential in various fields, particularly in advancing the healthcare industry by finding cures for diseases. The possibilities are truly exciting, and I'm eager to continue exploring this transformative technology.
